Acceptable Use Policy

Activities prohibited across every feature of the Platform.

6.1 Prohibited Activities

Users must not use the Platform to defraud other users or vendors, launder money, sell counterfeit, stolen, or illegal goods, run pyramid or Ponzi schemes disguised as competitions, manipulate votes through automated scripts or multiple fake accounts, scrape or harvest user data, or upload malicious code.

6.2 Use Restrictions

The Platform may not be used for unlicensed financial services, unlicensed lottery or gambling activity (as distinct from AMTA's own governed competitions), promotion of weapons, drugs, or other items restricted under Nigerian law, or bulk unsolicited messaging (spam).

6.3 Monitoring and Enforcement

AMTA may monitor content, listings, votes, and transactions for compliance with this Policy using a combination of automated systems and human review, and may remove content, freeze funds pending investigation, or restrict accounts where a breach is suspected.

6.4 Consequences of Violations

Breach of this Policy may result in the enforcement actions described in the Community Guidelines and, where the conduct is criminal in nature (for example, fraud or vote manipulation amounting to a cybercrime), referral to law enforcement under the Cybercrimes (Prohibition, Prevention, etc.) Act.
