Section 14 · Effective 1 September 2026
Event & Ticketing Policy
Creating events, selling tickets, refunds and organiser responsibility.
14.1 Event Creation and Management
Verified users and business accounts may create event listings with accurate details of date, venue, pricing, and capacity; event organisers are responsible for the accuracy of the information published and for updating it promptly if it changes.
14.2 Ticket Sales and Distribution
Tickets purchased through AMTA are issued electronically to the buyer's account and, where applicable, by email; resale of tickets outside the Platform's authorised resale feature (if offered) is at the user's own risk and is not guaranteed by AMTA.
14.3 Refunds and Cancellations
Ticket refund terms are set by the event organiser and displayed at the point of purchase; if an organiser cancels an event, ticket holders are entitled to a full refund of the ticket price, unless the organiser offers a reasonable alternative accepted by the ticket holder.
14.4 Event Conduct and Safety
Organisers are responsible for the safety and lawful conduct of their events, including compliance with applicable venue, security, and public-gathering regulations; AMTA is not responsible for on-site incidents at third-party-organised events.
14.5 Liability Disclaimer
AMTA acts as a platform facilitating event listing and ticket sales and is not the organiser of user-created events; liability for the conduct, safety, or cancellation of an event rests with the organiser, without prejudice to AMTA's own refund obligations where AMTA itself is the organiser.
