Section 18 · Effective 1 September 2026
Account Suspension & Termination Policy
When AMTA suspends or terminates an account, and how to appeal.
18.1 Grounds for Suspension or Termination
Grounds include breach of these Terms or any referenced policy, fraudulent activity (including vote manipulation or fake marketplace listings), repeated violations of the Community Guidelines, non-payment of fees owed, or a legal requirement to restrict access to the account.
18.2 Suspension Procedures
Where feasible, AMTA will notify the user of the reason for a suspension and, for lower-severity breaches, provide an opportunity to remedy the issue before permanent action is taken; accounts posing an immediate risk to other users may be suspended without prior notice.
18.3 Termination Procedures
Termination results in loss of access to the account, its content, and any associated balances or benefits, subject to completion of pending marketplace orders and payout of verified, undisputed funds owed to the user.
18.4 User Notification
Users are notified of suspension or termination by email or in-app notice, stating the general reason for the action to the extent permitted by law and any applicable investigation.
18.5 Appeal Process
A suspended or terminated user may appeal within thirty (30) days of the action; AMTA will review the appeal and communicate a final decision in writing.
