Section 11 · Effective 1 September 2026

Verification Policy

How individuals, vendors and competition organisers are verified.

11.1 Verification Process

Verification involves submitting the required documentation for review by AMTA's Trust & Safety team; verified accounts display a verification badge visible to other users.

11.2 Required Documentation

Individuals may be asked for a government-issued ID (National ID, driver's licence, international passport, or voter's card) and a selfie for liveness matching; vendor accounts additionally require a CAC business registration certificate or evidence of registered business name, and a valid means of identification of the account's authorised representative.

11.3 Verification Benefits

Verified vendors and organisers gain a trust badge, access to higher marketplace listing or competition limits, faster payout processing, and eligibility to host paid or high-value competitions.

11.4 Verification Denial and Appeals

Verification may be denied where documents are unclear, inconsistent, or suspected fraudulent; a denied applicant is informed of the reason where possible and may reapply with corrected documentation or appeal through the published contact channels.
